Dr. Howie Garber has been a professional fine art photographer for over 30 years. Howie has traveled the world photographing people, wildlife and landscapes. His work has been published in dozens of magazines and books. His fine art has received numerous awards and is even on display in the Smithsonian Museum. I have returned to photograph Mount Timpanogos near Sundance and Provo, Utah many times. Golden Yellow Aspens with snow on the peaks is a gift to behold in the Wasatch Mountains.

Natural History Magazine February 2003-A Fulfilled Family of Polar Bears has just fed on Bowhead Whale , Kaktovic, Alaska.

Because of a long tradition of subsistence hunting, The Inuit on Alaska’s North Slope are allowed to hunt and harvest endangered Bowhead Whales. The bears were inside the whale initially. I was alone and on foot with a 300MM lens. I returned shortly with a 500MM lens. This story is about climate change, man's choices about fossil fuels, and our interaction and profound effect on this struggling species.
